EST. 2007 // KOVEN AIR MFG
The first chiller we built is still running.
Koven Air shipped its first screw chiller in 2007. It is still in service today. Since then we have grown into a manufacturer of air handling units, rooftop packages, chillers, heat pumps, fan coils and desiccant dehumidifiers — most of them built to a specification that did not exist before the project. Our equipment now runs in more than 35 countries.

A manufacturer, not a trading company.
Koven Air Environment Technology Co., Ltd. builds mid- to high-end environmental control equipment for industrial, commercial and agricultural buildings. We design and assemble everything in our own plant in Suzhou Industrial Park, which is why we can quote a unit that does not exist yet — and stand behind it afterwards.
First screw chiller
The company is founded and builds its first screw chiller. The unit is still in operation today, nineteen years on.
Koven Air becomes a brand
We stop building only to order for others and start exporting under our own name.
20,000 m², one continuous flow.
Sheet metal arrives at one end and a tested unit leaves at the other. Nothing is subcontracted out and back, so a change to your specification does not mean chasing three suppliers. Robot cells handle the modular line work; every step is recorded against the serial number.

Performance lab
Step 1 — Sheet metal
precision sheet-metal operations, from laser cutting to bending
Step 2 — Assembly
standardised production stages on a robot-assisted modular line
Step 3 — Traceability
manufacturing steps logged and traceable per unit
Step 4 — Test
factory inspections before a unit is cleared for shipment
Step 5 — Burn-in
continuous ageing test, plus our own chiller and heat-pump performance lab
Six product lines, sized to your project.
AHU
Air Handling Units
Modular sections you specify: cooling, heating, heat recovery, filtration, humidification. Built to the airflow and external static pressure the project asks for.
Rooftop
Packaged Rooftop Units
Cooling, heating and fresh air in one weatherproof cabinet, for retail, warehousing and light industrial roofs.
Terminal
Fan Coil Units
Concealed, ceiling and floor types for terminal cooling and heating in offices, hotels and hospital wards.
Heating
Heat Pumps
Air and water source units for heating, cooling and hot water on sites without a combustion supply.
Chillers
Industrial Chillers
Screw and scroll, air-cooled and water-cooled. The line we started with in 2007 and still the core of the plant.
Dehumidification
Desiccant Dehumidifiers
Rotor dehumidification for rooms needing a dew point below what refrigeration alone can reach — battery dry rooms, pharmaceutical suites, grain stores.
From mushroom houses to semiconductor fabs.
The list below is not a market we would like to enter. It is where units carrying our nameplate are running now.

“For the Indonesian medical market we developed a heat-recovery AHU with negative-ion treatment that had no equivalent in the range — one of the reasons customers come to us rather than to a catalogue.”
Paperwork your inspector can verify.
Export projects fail on documentation more often than on hardware. Test reports and certificates are issued with the unit, and we will send them for review before you place the order.

The engineer who quotes it is the engineer who answers later.
Most of what goes wrong on an HVACR project happens after the container leaves. These are the three points where we stay involved.
Selection you can check
We work from your project design and verify the parameters ourselves — capacity, airflow, static pressure, temperature and humidity control — then return the calculation so your engineer can confirm it against the local climate and building type.
Tested before it ships
A unit leaves only after it is built and tested without fault. Our technicians guide installation and commissioning on site, and make modifications where the site does not match the drawing — which it rarely does exactly.
Support for the life of the unit
Free technical guidance for as long as the equipment runs. Problems inside the warranty period are handled without delay, and we train contractors and engineers on the equipment on a regular schedule.
What arrives with the quotation
Distributors, consulting engineers and design institutes ask for the same six documents. You do not have to ask for them twice.
Selection calculation
Performance curves
CAD & BIM files
Control logic description
Wiring diagrams
Installation & commissioning manual
Send us the conditions. We will send back the calculation.
Design conditions, building type, capacity and the climate it has to survive — that is enough for us to start. We reply in English, and we reply to engineers directly.
