The Two-Machine Test

Searching “industrial heat pump” returns two different machine families. Two questions settle which one your duty needs, before you compare a single capacity or price.

This test routes by physics, not by brand. Where the answer is a process-heat pump, Koven Air says so rather than proposing a machine that cannot reach the duty.

1. How does heat leave the machine?

As water — into a hydronic loop, fan coils, radiators, radiant circuits or a process tank As steam — into a steam header or a direct process injection

2. What supply temperature does the duty require?

Up to 55 °C — space heating, fan coils, radiant, pre-heat 55–75 °C — process hot water, wash and phosphating lines, boiler replacement Above 100 °C — steam generation, drying, high-temperature process heat
